Planning again!

With the new travel apps for iPad2 and Google Earth, planning the trip back to Oregon and the Redwoods will be a cinch. We are traveling with some old pals to see some old woods! Waterfalls and everything in between beckon. Columbia River Gorge and tromping around the Pearl District of Portland holds surprises and new discoveries. Stay tuned nice people!

Eye Candy

Sweeping vistas, snow-capped mountains in July, sunlight spilled over meadows, riot of color: this was our trip to Crested Butte.

Nothing like a walk through aspens, pathways lined with queen anne's lace as tall as my shoulders, drives along backroads barely traveled by anyone else. We felt truly away from it all.

It's that time again...

Life has beaten us to a pulp...well, not life exactly...that's good...just work, stress, go-go-go. Nothing like oppressive heat and humidity to really hear the call of mountain air. We are Colorado-bound, heading for Crested Butte via Castle Rock via Denver. Honey!! Get the hiking boots, I'll grab my walking sticks. Here we go again!
